Artist Statement:

The House of Cards worked on several layers and was literally built up like a city or a large building, layer by layer, until it took the form of a house. The card house also referred to a less tangible but equally important structure in society – a structure built by people and their relationships. We might have desired to put our own interests first, but in the end, the hope was that we all pursued a common goal: the creation of a safe, enjoyable, and creative environment. It was a subtle and fragile network. If someone pulled a card from the deck, it was up to the rest of the structure to absorb the blow and remain upright

Artist Bio

We are light artists, art directors and architects working all over the world. All our works are playful and joyful; but always convey a deeper social message – for that we coined the word: “social light art”. Therefore or work is never abstract or meaningless; very often collaborative and highlighting values and needs of society, promoting inclusiveness, helping and supporting each other. OGE Design Group was founded in 2007 by Merav (Salush) Eitan and Gaston Zahr.
